    Tranalyzer

    Tranalyzer

Tranalyzer flow generator packet analyzer moved to: tranalyzer.com

The Anteater moves to a new site, available under tranalyzer.com. This tool generates extended netflow-like flow/packet statistics from large pcap files or ethernet interfaces. It is intended to serve as a tool for IT troubleshooting, encrypted traffic mining, AI preprocessing and forensic analysis. A packet based "tshark mode" for detailed header and content inspection is improved for troubleshooting and security purposes. Flow based and packet based content inspection and extraction,...

    wave-share

    wave-share

Serverless, peer-to-peer, local file sharing through sound

...After the offer-and-answer exchange, the browsers establish a direct WebRTC connection over the local network. The signaling process does not require a dedicated server, application installation, or browser plugin. Its sound packets contain essential SDP details, network information, security fingerprints, credentials, and error-correction data. The project also includes a command-line prototype for sending arbitrary text through its audio protocol. Its data-over-sound technology was later extracted and developed separately as the ggwave library.

    Spectrum SDC, MDC, CDC

    Spectrum SDC, MDC, CDC

    The Spectrum family of products

...Spectrum SDC is typically installed at the edge of a HTTP based video delivery network receiving ABR requests from video clients and providing value added services such as repackaging on-the-fly, ad-insertion, blackouts and session management. Spectrum MDC is a subset product of Spectrum SDC. It also follows a per-session model, but only handles manifest files but does not handle media packets. It can be deployed on-net with the CDN or in off-net models. Spectrum CDC is a variant of Spectrum SDC which is deployed in the core of the video delivery network, providing similar services such as repackaging and ad-insertion but on a per channnel or asset basis (instead of a per-session basis like SDC).

    SIP Data Filter (SiDaFir)

Simple and efficient tool for SIP trace filtering

The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is a signaling communications protocol widely used nowadays for controlling multimedia communication sessions such as voice and video calls over Internet Protocol (IP) networks. Thanks to its simplicity, SIP messages are often used in creative ways for which these were not originally designed (e.g. using periodical OPTIONS packets as NAT keep-alive instead of using STUN or TURN) and thus SIP traces of the captured traffic often contain "useless" traffic from the actual signalization point of view. Aim of this project is to offer a simple and effective, yet well-configurable, tool allowing for SIP trace filtering - the SIP Data Filter (SiDaFir).

    WhoisUP

    WhoisUP

Is your host up or down?

...When a host is down, the script can send mail, syslog message, open a popup message or play a sound. Moreover, the script monitors if the host exceed the latency threshold limit. The script uses NMap to send ICMP packets and to save the host status into an XML file. Then, WhoisUP reads the XML and shows the report in a web page with AJAX features; in case of host failure the script can send alarms. WhoisUP is useful to monitor hosts (PC, Server, NAS, Router, Switch and so on...) and to receive alerts when a host go down.

    Secure Internet Live Conferencing

    Secure Internet Live Conferencing

    Secure chat and conferencing protocol

...SILC provides common chat and conferencing services like private messages, instant messages, channels and groups, and video and audio conferencing. The main difference to other protocols is that SILC has been designed with security as its main feature. All packets and messages sent in SILC network are always encrypted. Private messages are encrypted end-to-end, channel message are encrypted with channel-wide secret key and secure file transfer is protected peer-to-peer.

    Semantic Internet and IPSourcing

    Semantic Internet and IPSourcing

Semantic Internet and IPSourcing: Internet becomes the knowledge.

...In this project, we aim at developing Semantic Internet which addresses content-centric networking and M2M communication. We change the way Internet operates. Internet becomes the knowledge. The metadata of the content of the IPv6 packets and the capabilities of the device is inserted into the IPv6 options header. Routers (machines) process packets and establish a semantic database. We call this concept as IP sourcing. Any unencrypted IP packet enables populating the semantic database and Internet becomes a very large independent, distributed information center. ...
