This Darkbot page is a fork of the original Darkbot. The original page was taken by new ownership and the original group of contributors have had no luck in retaining control over the project as was originally the case. Darkbot is an artificially intelligent IRC robot originally created by Jason Hamilton for use in help rooms on the Undernet IRC network, and others. It is capable of being taught responses to questions, and can help simulate the feeling of having a real person around to answer questions when nobody else is available.
