Multiple masters accessing such a slave implementation causes all kind of havoc, from aborted TCP connections to packet loss and transmission errors. Modbusmplex is a MODBUS multiplexer that provides a way to work around such a limitation by multiplexing multiple MODBUS/TCP master connections into one MODBUS/TCP connection towards a slave.
