    Sourcery

    Sourcery

Meta-programming for Swift, stop writing boilerplate code

Sourcery is a code generator for Swift language, built on top of Apple's own SwiftSyntax. It extends the language abstractions to allow you to generate boilerplate code automatically. It's used in over 40,000 projects on both iOS and macOS and it powers some of the most popular and critically-acclaimed apps you have used (including Airbnb, Bumble, New York Times). Its massive community adoption was one of the factors that pushed Apple to implement derived Equality and automatic Codable conformance. Sourcery is maintained by a growing community of contributors. Try Sourcery for your next project or add it to an existing one, you'll save a lot of time and be happy you did! Sourcery allows you to get rid of repetitive code and create better architecture and developer workflows. An example might be implementing Mocks for all your protocols, without Sourcery you will need to write hundreds lines of code per each protocol.

    Ruby

    Ruby

    Ruby programming language

A dynamic, open source programming language with a focus on simplicity and productivity. It has an elegant syntax that is natural to read and easy to write. Ruby is a language of careful balance. Its creator, Yukihiro “Matz” Matsumoto, blended parts of his favorite languages (Perl, Smalltalk, Eiffel, Ada, and Lisp) to form a new language that balanced functional programming with imperative programming. He has often said that he is “trying to make Ruby natural, not simple,” in a way that mirrors life. Since its public release in 1995, Ruby has drawn devoted coders worldwide. In 2006, Ruby achieved mass acceptance. With active user groups formed in the world’s major cities and Ruby-related conferences filled to capacity. Ruby-Talk, the primary mailing list for discussion of the Ruby language, climbed to an average of 200 messages per day in 2006. It has dropped in recent years as the size of the community pushed discussion from one central list into many smaller groups.

    mockery

    mockery

A mock code autogenerator for Golang

mockery provides the ability to easily generate mocks for Golang interfaces using the stretchr/testify/mock package. It removes the boilerplate coding required to use mocks. mockery uses spf13/viper under the hood for its configuration parsing. It is bound to three different configuration sources, in order of decreasing precedence. By default, it searches the current working directory for a file named .mockery.[extension] where [extension] is any of the recognized extensions. Mockery will iteratively search every directory from the current working directory up to the root path for a .mockery.yaml file, if one is not explicitly provided. If your tests need access to the arguments to calculate the return values, set the return value to a function that takes the method's arguments as its own arguments and returns the return value.

    zx

    zx

A tool for writing better scripts

Bash is great, but when it comes to writing scripts, people usually choose a more convenient programming language. JavaScript is a perfect choice, but the standard Node.js library requires additional hassle before use. The zx package provides useful wrappers around child_process, escapes arguments, and gives sensible defaults. Write your scripts in a file with .mjs extension in order to be able to use await on top level. If you prefer the .js extension, wrap your scripts in something like void async function.

    CSS Grid Generator

    CSS Grid Generator

Generate basic CSS Grid code to make dynamic layouts

CSS Grid Generator is a visual tool built to help web designers and developers quickly create CSS Grid layout code without writing the grid definitions manually. You select the number of columns, rows, and units (e.g., fr, px, %), then visually drag and place items, resize them and position them within the grid to prototype layouts by hand. Once the layout is arranged, the tool generates the corresponding HTML and CSS you can copy into your project—thus bridging the gap between design and code. The interface supports drag-and-drop of “divs” into grid cells, and you can experiment with grid gaps, spans and layout refinements in real time. Because it removes the barrier of hand-writing complex grid-template or grid-area definitions, it’s particularly useful for designers who are less comfortable with CSS or want rapid prototyping of grid layouts.

    RxSwift

    RxSwift

    Reactive Programming in Swift

Rx is a generic abstraction of computation expressed through Observable<Element> interface, which lets you broadcast and subscribe to values and other events from an Observable stream. RxSwift is the Swift-specific implementation of the Reactive Extensions standard. While this version aims to stay true to the original spirit and naming conventions of Rx, this projects also aims to provide a true Swift-first API for Rx APIs. Cross platform documentation can be found on ReactiveX.io. Like other Rx implementation, RxSwift's intention is to enable easy composition of asynchronous operations and streams of data in the form of Observable objects and a suite of methods to transform and compose these pieces of asynchronous work. KVO observation, async operations, UI Events and other streams of data are all unified under abstraction of sequence. This is the reason why Rx is so simple, elegant and powerful.
