vimplus is an opinionated Vim “distribution” and automatic configuration program by chxuan which bundles a large number of plugins and configurations so that you can essentially install Vim once and have a fully-loaded development setup. Rather than starting with a bare .vimrc and gradually adding plugins, vimplus gives you a pre-configured environment that includes file explorers, completion, status lines, themes, and more. It includes a custom installer and update script, and places a lot of the configuration into ~/.vimrc.custom.plugins and ~/.vimrc.custom.config for user customisations. The Web Experimentation Kit allows you to enter HTML, CSS and JavaScript and see the results immediately in a browser frame side-by-side with the editor. If you've seen the W3Schools Tryit Editor, JSFiddle or CodePen then this should be familiar to you. The difference between WebExKit and these other applications is that WebExKit is a stand-alone application that runs on your desktop and it allows you to save (and reload) files to your own disk drive. The editor shows a properly formed HTML page rather than separate editors for HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The parts go between the ```<body>, <style> and <script>``` tags. I prefer this method of working and one advantage is the ability to show a saved web page in a browser (on another device, possibly) by entering a "file://..." URL. goyo.vim is a plugin by junegunn that provides a distraction-free writing environment inside Vim or Neovim by concentrating the focus on the current buffer. When you invoke the command (e.g., :Goyo), it opens the current file in a centered, minimal layout — typically hiding sidebars, status-lines, tab-lines, scrollbars, and other UI clutter — thus offering a clean space for writing or reading. The width and height of the writing area can be optionally specified (e.g., :Goyo 80 for an 80-column width) and typical window-resizing keys still apply. The idea is that when you need to focus on writing (markdown, notes, prose, or even code), you temporarily step into a calm environment, then exit to your normal layout when finished.
