    AWS CDI SDK

    AWS CDI SDK

AWS Cloud Digital Interface (CDI) SDK

The AWS Cloud Digital Interface (CDI) SDK is the library which implements the low-latency reliable transport of data between systems in the cloud including AWS Media Services and Amazon EC2 instances. The SDK takes care of the complex task of ensuring that large amounts of data are seamlessly transferred across the AWS network using multi-path technology to ensure lossless quality without the need for extensive network buffering and delay. The SDK consists of two main API layers, depending on the desired level of functionality, and a common core layer. The CDI Audio, Video and Metadata (CDI-AVM) layer takes care of transferring multi-stream, modern video signals that contain video, audio and metadata. The CDI Raw Payload (CDI-RAW) layer takes care of transferring raw generic payloads. The CDI Core (CDI-CORE) layer takes care of common core functionality.

AWS IoT Device SDK for Embedded C

AWS IoT Device SDK for Embedded C

SDK for connecting to AWS IoT from a device using embedded C

The AWS IoT Device SDK for Embedded C (C-SDK) is a collection of C source files under the MIT open source license that can be used in embedded applications to securely connect IoT devices to AWS IoT Core. It contains MQTT client, HTTP client, JSON Parser, AWS IoT Device Shadow, AWS IoT Jobs, and AWS IoT Device Defender libraries. This SDK is distributed in source form and can be built into customer firmware along with application code, other libraries, and an operating system (OS) of your choice. These libraries are only dependent on standard C libraries, so they can be ported to various OS's - from embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) to Linux/Mac/Windows. You can find sample usage of C-SDK libraries on POSIX systems using OpenSSL (e.g. Linux demos in this repository), and on FreeRTOS using mbedTLS (e.g. FreeRTOS demos in the FreeRTOS repository). The coreHTTP library provides the ability to establish an HTTP connection with a server over a customer-implemented transport layer.

    AWS SigV4 Library

    AWS SigV4 Library

AWS library to sign AWS HTTP requests with Signature Version 4

The AWS SigV4 Library is a standalone library for generating authorization headers and signatures according to the specifications of the Signature Version 4 signing process. Authorization headers are required for authentication when sending HTTP requests to AWS. This library can optionally be used by applications sending direct HTTP requests to AWS services requiring SigV4 authentication. This library has no dependencies on any additional libraries other than the standard C library. This library is distributed under the MIT Open Source License. This library has gone through code quality checks including verification that no function has a GNU Complexity score over 8, and checks against deviations from mandatory rules in the MISRA coding standard. Deviations from the MISRA C:2012 guidelines are documented under MISRA Deviations. This library has also undergone static code analysis using Coverity static analysis, and validation of memory safety through the CBMC automated reasoning tool.

    libfabric

    libfabric

    AWS Libfabric

The Open Fabrics Interfaces (OFI) is a framework focused on exporting fabric communication services to applications. Libfabric pre-built binaries may be available from other sources, such as Linux distributions. Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFA) is a network interface for Amazon EC2 instances that enables customers to run applications requiring high levels of inter-node communications at scale on AWS. Its custom-built operating system (OS) bypass hardware interface enhances the performance of inter-instance communications, which is critical to scaling these applications. With EFA, High Performance Computing (HPC) applications using the Message Passing Interface (MPI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications using NVIDIA Collective Communications Library (NCCL) can scale to thousands of CPUs or GPUs. As a result, you get the application performance of on-premises HPC clusters with the on-demand elasticity and flexibility of the AWS cloud.
