    AWS SDK ZF2 Module

    AWS SDK ZF2 Module

ZF2 module for using the AWS SDK for PHP to interact with AWS services

Get started quickly using AWS with the AWS SDK for PHP. The SDK is a modern, open-source PHP library that makes it easy to integrate your PHP application with AWS services like Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, and Amazon DynamoDB. Version 3 of the AWS SDK for PHP is now generally available and includes a number of improvements and new features while maintaining nearly identical API patterns for easy migration from version 2. Conveniently marshal and unmarshal JSON documents and PHP arrays for storage in Amazon DynamoDB. Remove the session state scale bottleneck by easily storing the application session state in DynamoDB. Use PHP's built-in functions such as fopen, copy, and file_get_contents to work with objects stored in Amazon S3. Automates polling for resource state changes such as waiting for a newly launched Amazon EC2 instance to reach the 'running' state.

    AWS SigV4 Library

    AWS SigV4 Library

AWS library to sign AWS HTTP requests with Signature Version 4

The AWS SigV4 Library is a standalone library for generating authorization headers and signatures according to the specifications of the Signature Version 4 signing process. Authorization headers are required for authentication when sending HTTP requests to AWS. This library can optionally be used by applications sending direct HTTP requests to AWS services requiring SigV4 authentication. This library has no dependencies on any additional libraries other than the standard C library. This library is distributed under the MIT Open Source License. This library has gone through code quality checks including verification that no function has a GNU Complexity score over 8, and checks against deviations from mandatory rules in the MISRA coding standard. Deviations from the MISRA C:2012 guidelines are documented under MISRA Deviations. This library has also undergone static code analysis using Coverity static analysis, and validation of memory safety through the CBMC automated reasoning tool.

    AWS Toolkit for Azure DevOps

    AWS Toolkit for Azure DevOps

    AWS Toolkit for Azure DevOps

The AWS Toolkit for Azure DevOps adds tasks to easily enable build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) and Azure DevOps Server (previously known as Team Foundation Server (TFS)) to work with AWS services including Amazon S3, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS Lambda, AWS CloudFormation, Amazon Simple Queue Service and Amazon Simple Notification Service, and run commands using the AWS Tools for Windows PowerShell module and the AWS CLI. This is an open source project because we want you to be involved. We love issues, feature requests, code reviews, pull requests or any positive contribution. To enable tasks to call AWS services when run as part of your build or release pipelines AWS credentials need to have been configured for the tasks or be available in the host process for the build agent. Note that the credentials are used specifically by the tasks when run in a build agent process, they are not related to end-user logins to your Azure DevOps instance.

    AWS X-Ray Daemon

    AWS X-Ray Daemon

The AWS X-Ray daemon listens for traffic on UDP port 2000

The AWS X-Ray daemon listens for traffic on UDP port 2000, gathers raw segment data, and relays it to the AWS X-Ray API. The daemon works in conjunction with the AWS X-Ray SDKs and must be running so that data sent by the SDKs can reach the X-Ray service. The X-Ray SDK sends segment documents to the daemon to avoid making calls to AWS directly. You can send the segment/subsegment in JSON over UDP port 2000 to the X-Ray daemon, prepended by the daemon header. On AWS Lambda and AWS Elastic Beanstalk, use those services' integration with X-Ray to run the daemon. Lambda runs the daemon automatically any time a function is invoked for a sampled request. On Elastic Beanstalk, use the XRayEnabled configuration option to run the daemon on the instances in your environment. To run the X-Ray daemon locally, on-premises, or on other AWS services, download it, run it, and then give it permission to upload segment documents to X-Ray.

    Amazon Neptune Gremlin .NET SigV4

    Amazon Neptune Gremlin .NET SigV4

A custom library for Amazon Neptune that enables AWS Signature Version

This project provides a custom library that extends the Apache TinkerPop Gremlin.NET client to enable AWS IAM Signature Version 4 signing for establishing authenticated connections to Amazon Neptune. For example usage refer to: NeptuneGremlinNETSigV4Example.cs. This example shows how to leverage this library for establishing an authenticated connection to Neptune. The GremlinClient library accepts both a GremlinServer object as well as a webSocketConfiguration object that contains a custom configuration set for establishing the WebSocket connection to Amazon Neptune. The SigV4RequestSigner library fetchs IAM credentials using the FallbackCredentialsFactory API (which works similarly to the Java Default Credential Provider Chain), performs the proper Signature Version 4 signing of an http request, and creates the proper WebSocket configuration based on this signed http request. One can then pass this webSocketConfiguration to the GremlinClient to create the connection to Neptune.

    Easegress

A Cloud Native traffic orchestration system

The Easegres (formally known as Ease Gateway) helps to enlarge the availability and stability, also can improve the performance without changing a line of code. It also can smoothly support rapid business growth without re-arch the whole system. Easegress can be a typical seven-level API Gateway, it also can be a side-car to be a Service Mesh, and Easegress can perfectly work with other software to ship powerful features, such as: Kubernetes Ingress, Knaitve FaaS, and Eureka/Consul/Etcd/Nacos and so on. The Easegress can management the traffic and APIs, not only can do load balancing, canary development but also can aggregate and pipeline a number of APIs. This function automatically helps the website optimize its performance, such as: adding the cache, merging the requests, and reducing the network bandwidth. Sometimes, a site could have unexpectedly higher traffic, the Ease Gateway could help to protect the critical service for critical customers.

    Graph NotebookAmazon GameLift Unity

    Graph NotebookAmazon GameLift Unity

Access GameLift resources and integrate GameLift into your Unity game

The Amazon GameLift Plugin for Unity contains libraries and native UI that makes it easier to access GameLift resources and integrate GameLift into your Unity game. You can use the GameLift Unity Plugin to access GameLift APIs and deploy AWS CloudFormation templates for common gaming scenarios. Auth Only, this scenario creates a game backend service that performs only player authentication and no game server capability. It creates a Cognito user pool to store player authentication information, as well as an API gateway REST endpoint backed up AWS Lambda handlers to start a game and view game connection information. The Lambda handler always returns a 501 Error (Unimplemented). Single-Region Fleet, this scenario creates a game backend service with a single GameLift fleet. After player authenticates and starts a game (with a POST request to /start_game), a AWS Lambda handler searches for an existing viable game session with an open player slot on the fleet.

    Neat

    Neat

A lightweight and flexible Sass grid

Neat is a fluid grid framework with the aim of being easy enough to use out of the box and flexible enough to customize down the road. Neat also works great with Bourbon and Bitters, They are all lightweight and easy to work with so it’s a blast to try them out and see if they’re right for your next project. If you need multiple grids in a single project, you can do this by defining a new map stored within a variable of your choosing. This variable can then be passed directly into any of Neat's mixins. Custom grids are especially useful with grid-media. By defining a media attribute within your custom grid, you are able to easily define gutter width and total column count as well as the breakpoint at which they should activate. Creates collapsed grid object that consumes the gutters of its container, for use in nested layouts.

    Offline First Database Comparison

    Offline First Database Comparison

An implementation of the exact same app in Firestore, AWS Datastore

In this project I have implemented the exact same chat application with different database technologies. You can use it to compare metrics and learn about the differences. The chat app is a web-based angular application, with functionality similar to Whatsapp Web. All metrics are measured automatically via code in a browser test (chrome:headless). The results heavily depend on the developer's device. You should compare the values relative to one another and not as absolute values. Also, you might want to create new metrics that better represent how you would use the respective database. WatermelonDB and the RxDB-LokiJS project use the LokiJS database as storage, which is an in memory database that regularly persists the data to IndexedDB either on interval, or when the browser tab is closed. By doing so, less slow IndexedDB transaction are used. Keeping and processing the data in memory has the benefit of being much faster.

    Porter

    Porter

Kubernetes powered PaaS that runs in your own cloud

Porter is a fully-managed PaaS that lets teams automate DevOps. Deploy and manage apps within AWS, GCP, DO, and more. Porter manages and scales services in your existing cloud so you can focus on building products. Deploy in seconds from a Git repo or Docker registry. Porter simplifies service management while still offering the flexibility of a fully-featured DevOps platform when you need it. Use your existing AWS, GCP, or DO cloud as a hosting backend. They host your apps, Porter manages them. Automate your cloud management and focus on what matters. A traditional PaaS like Heroku is great for minimizing unnecessary DevOps work but doesn't offer enough flexibility as your applications grow. Custom network rules, resource constraints, and cost are common reasons developers move their applications off Heroku beyond a certain scale. Porter brings the simplicity of a traditional PaaS to your own cloud provider while preserving the configurability of Kubernetes.

    Rocketeer

    Rocketeer

Send your projects up in the clouds

Rocketeer is a modern PHP task runner and deployment package. It is inspired by the Laravel Framework philosophy and thus aims to be fast, elegant, and more importantly easy to use. Like the latter, emphasis is put on smart defaults and modern development. While it is coded in PHP, it can deploy any project from small HTML/CSS websites to large Rails applications. Versatile, support for multiple connections, multiserver connections, multiple stages per server, etc. Fast, queue tasks and run them in parallel across all your servers and stages. Modulable, not only can you add custom tasks and components, every core part of Rocketeer can be hot swapped, extended, hacked to bits, etc. Preconfigured, tired of defining the same routines again and again ? Rocketeer is made for modern development and comes with smart defaults and built-in tasks such as installing your application's dependencies.

    Serverless Next.js Component

    Serverless Next.js Component

Deploy your Next.js apps on AWS Lambda@Edge via Serverless Components

A zero-configuration Next.js 10/11 serverless component for AWS Lambda@Edge aiming for full feature parity. Since Next.js 8.0, serverless mode was introduced which provides a new low-level API that projects like this can use to deploy onto different cloud providers. However, Next.js doesn't provide the full serverless routing logic, hence why this project is needed to fill the gap. The long-term vision is to allow you to self-host with various clouds, starting with AWS. This project is a better version of the serverless plugin which focuses on addressing core issues like next 9 support, better development experience, the 200 CloudFormation resource limit and performance. Users of this component should be able to use Next.js development tooling, aka next dev. It is the component's job to deploy your application ensuring parity with all of next's features we know and love. We try to emulate all or most of the routing and server-side logic from Next.js.

    StreamAlert

    StreamAlert

StreamAlert is a serverless, realtime data analysis framework

StreamAlert is a serverless, real-time data analysis framework that empowers you to ingest, analyze, and alert on data from any environment, using data sources and alerting logic you define. Computer security teams use StreamAlert to scan terabytes of log data every day for incident detection and response. Incoming log data will be classified and processed by the rules engine. Alerts are then sent to one or more outputs. Rules are written in Python; they can utilize any Python libraries or functions. Merge similar alerts and automatically promote new rules if they are not too noisy. Ingested logs and generated alerts can be retroactively searched for compliance and research. Serverless design is cheaper, easier to maintain, and scales to terabytes per day. Deployment is automated, simple, safe and repeatable for any AWS account. Secure by design, least-privilege execution, containerized analysis, and encrypted data storage.
