Java Open Chess is a project written in Java in NetBeans IDE. There is possibility to play for 2 players on local computers and via network connection. A chess application in order to play against computer or to play with another human. No network playing is planned (no FICS). This program uses the Carballo Chess Engine in order to check moves, and the Stockfish engine (that you must download on their website) in order to generate the computer moves. -
