...The project is in a very early stage. Winboard compliance is partial. Does not support undo of moves or time controls. Right now it makes a move every 45 seconds. If you are a beginner-intermediate player you might find this a good sparring partner.I have tested this only with Arena3.0. I plan to make this stronger gradually. In the the end an array of ChessNovices with varying playing strenths should be available.

A chess application in order to play against computer or to play with another human. No network playing is planned (no FICS). This program uses the Carballo Chess Engine in order to check moves, and the Stockfish engine (that you must download on their website) in order to generate the computer moves.
