ICED (Inline Chemical Equations Drawer) is the implementation of the web based chemical markup language, which can be used as a part of HTML layout. Its purpose is the visualization of chemical structural formulas, equations and other chemical info.

Provides a PHP-based framework for WebServices that interoperate with the Mobile Molecular DataSheet app (for iOS and BlackBerry). The source files can be deployed on a PHP-capable web server and to provide access to chemical information services to the mobile app.

MyLabBook is a free and open source electronic lab notebook (ELN) built on on the WordPress CMS. The basic installation provides capabilities for collecting, displaying and sorting data with a sample data set and can be modified for different experiments. It can easily accommodate hundreds of users with a role based permission system. This makes it appropriate for classroom situations especially but can also accommodate individual researchers or research teams. Being built on WordPress also means that thousands of additional free and open source as well as reasonably priced commercial plugins can be used to enhance its capabilities. This approach is based on over a decade's experience with the biotech program at the University of Houston and from being utilized at other universities with an NSF funded project. We continue to evolve its capabilities and ease of use. Note that the screenshots are based on the use of some relatively inexpensive commercial plugins.

The Analyses Database is a collection of software to archive and to track rawdata files from analytical instruments. The system is set up using freely accessible tools - MySQL, apache, PHP, Linux. Several utilities for MS Windows are provided.

The Chemicals Database is a simple yet effective approach to track a stock of products. It provides a "product catalogue" that is accessible from any workplace over Intranet (http) and the server can be operated "in the cloud". Although this documentation deals in particular with a stock of chemicals in a laboratory, it can easily be adapted to any other "items" such as samples, spare parts, tools and other inventory. The software does not rely on a proprietary "solution" but employs standard formats and protocols. It is freely available under the terms and conditions of the GNU Public License (GPL v2), thus being open for extensions and custom modifications.
