Unlike the public chat-room of ssh-chat, this implementation requiring all users must be authenticated by public key before starting a chat; however public chatrooms are still possible by hacking OpenSSH server, see Wiki page 'Public Chatroom' for details. -

A Python IRC Console Client. I use it to tunnel irc through ssh when I'm at the university. It isn't finished yet, but works quite well for me. The base work is done, but I will revise most of the code soon, so it will be more structured hopefully.

"msnclient" is an MSN Messenger client with a text-based UI a la IRC. It is multithreaded using the libpthread library, and asynchronous. Useful for computers which can't run X Window and for users who need an available-in-telnet/ssh client.
