Channel Code Copy of Compact Discs: This project has the goal to archive the complete content of CDs on the channel code layer. Here, the NRZI signal which stems from the laser-pickup of a CD player is recorded directly, providing sort of a pit-land photo of the CD. The resulting image file, in turn, is demodulated and decoded in software, i.e. within a virtual CD player. -

A CLI audio cue file generator which uses the Discogs.com API
DCue is a command line tool for automatically generating audio cue sheets (.cue files) using the massive release database from Discogs.com to find artist names, track titles, durations and other information via the Discogs API. Rippix
ripperX fork to clean the code and port to GTK+ 3
...While ripperX does it's job good to rip and encode songs from a CD, it uses a rather outdated user interface. Rippix tries to fill this gap. This includes porting Rippix to GTK+ 3. Additionally, many deprecated code gets rewritten and documentation will be added. 'Why a fork?' you might ask. Well, after some hacking on the ripperX code, it appeared to me that I had to do more modifications in order to port to GTK+ 3 conveniently than what could be appreciable by ripperX devs, like removing all the XPM images (including the logo) from the UI. -
