Generates a short string to help you label your media collection (e.g. CDR/DVDR backups etc.). The string identifies the media type, year and month and a content category. It can be useful for organising and finding your backup media in a database as well as physically. The short string is meant to serve as a unique identifier that can be used both as a primary key in a database and as the label for the medium itself. This small project was born out of a personal need to organise my DVD archive. -

Media Randomizer
To create random sequence playlists for any type of media file quickly
Purpose: a) create "Hard Links" to the media tracks. It can put these links anywhere on the drive and they would still point to the original track. Now, we can add or delete a compilation in a matter of seconds because we are not copying the tracks, And b) add a random number prefix to each track that is easily changed which will change the order in which the tracks are played. -

I have been missing a convenient way to manage all songs I used to play on guitar. Sometimes I was not connected to the internet, sometimes finding the correct chords on the internet took too long. To solve this, I have decided to create a small application capable of storing songs with chords and displaying them when needed. And if it helps some other people than me, I will be happy.
