There are many tools similar to this, but were missing features I wanted, so i created this, and thought I'd share it... Give the perl script a movie, it'll enter it into the database, then go to the php frontend to get all data on the movie(s). It's not perfect just yet, and I will be adding more to it, any ideas, suggestions are very welcome. -

I have been missing a convenient way to manage all songs I used to play on guitar. Sometimes I was not connected to the internet, sometimes finding the correct chords on the internet took too long. To solve this, I have decided to create a small application capable of storing songs with chords and displaying them when needed. And if it helps some other people than me, I will be happy. -

Dupless - a duplicate file solution
extract unique file sets from sets with duplicates
Do you have lots of files? I do, particularly image files. There are lots of duplicates and I want to extract a unique set from the larger set. That is what dupless does. Written in Java, using sqlite, it is some simple code that solves the duplicate file problem. All of the code is contained in the .jar file, both source and binary. Currently it writes scripts for use on Linux or Windows. -

Free GPL License There is a ".deb" file for Ubuntu and Debian style Linux's and a Windows installer in the binaries section. An RPM package is coming soon. This started out as a project to allow ID3 tag management with features I did not find in the run of the mill player/managers out there for MP3 music. It has the ability to set and change album art as well as load devices with exactly the number and size of files to fit in a known file system size. Like for devices. It is up and working and what I feel is intuitive but it could use some sprucing up with nice graphics and maybe more functions. ... -
