OpenExif is an object-oriented library for accessing Exif formated JPEG image files. The toolkit allows creating, reading, and modifying the metadata in the Exif file. It also provides means of getting and setting the main image and the thumbnail image.
One of the problems faced by modellers is matching their available paint colours to those used on the object (eg aircraft) being modelled.
The aim of this toolkit is to help them in this endeavour including assistance in mixing paints to achieve the required match if required.

This java application takes input images of an object on a a known sheet of paper and produce a realistic 3d triangulated model of the object. It is designed to integrate the software with the Reprap project to create a simple "3d photocopier". The software was written for a PhD thesis and is currently in an incomplete state.
Photoropter is a lens correction library and calibration application. Comparable in purpose to existing projects like PTLens and LensFun, this is a new effort, using modern C++ libraries like Boost and STL and employing clean, object-oriented design.

MMPython is a Media Meta Data retrieval framework. It retrieves metadata from mp3, ogg, avi, jpg, tiff and other file formats. Among others it thereby parses ID3v2, ID3v1, EXIF, IPTC and Vorbis data into an object oriented struture.
The Mimas Toolkit is a C++ real-time computer vision library. Algorithms include edge/corner-detection, object recognition/tracking, LSI-filters, segmentation, array-operators, convolution etc. OO wrappers for LAPACK, libxine, V4L, FFTW are provided.
JetClass, Java net-class application, allows virtual lectures to be held by teachers and students located in front of their computers, somewhere around the globe. It's written in Pure Java, relying on CORBA for network communications.
The sane++ project aims to provide an object-oriented (OO) wrapper around the SANE API, for frontend as well as backend implementers, and demonstrate its feasibility/functionality with several sample programs.
