...You can use MMM to read out your Monitor Capabilities like physical Resolution, supported Resolutions and Refresh Rates, Vendor Informations, Firmware Version and current settings like Brightness, Contrast, Gamma and so on. You can use MMM also to send MCCS Commands to your Monitor to turning it into Standby, wake it up again and change its Brightness, Contrast or Gamma Settings. Note that this is done directly by the Monitor and NOT the Graphics Card. You can't believe that? Have a look to your Monitors On-Screen Display when changing Settings with MMM! Furthermore, MMM has methods to place a Window exacty to a Monitor relatively to global Desktop Coordinates and taking Screenshots from a Monitor Content.
