OTC6 :: Open Tactical Combat 2006. It's a GPLd mod in the spirit of TC:E for EnemyTerritory. Take a look at our Home Page for checkout instructions - or check the "Docs"-section for screenshots, videos ... Branch using etxreal-engine and remove usage of standard et-paks, but using same scripting to run et-maps. In work: adding the gpl-header to every source-file (this expands the old license to the new gpl-based like the provided code-base from iD for the whole enemy-territory-coding).

... with genetic algorithms crossbreeding, and mutating simple assembly commands. I've played around a lot with selection schemes and different goals, and while they can develop some rudimentary skills, they always die off and fail to improve. While they can learn a way through a maze, I'm not seeing any emergent combat tactics more advanced than move in a direction flailing my sword around me. All in all it makes for a fairly retarded AI. -
