It's a very basic thing: there are free rigid bodies and springs with strong attenuation/damping. It's very simple and very short code, and collisions of bodies with ground are good and stable.
A good simulation of this kind, however requires Lagrangian method. I proposed the Lagrange_motocross as an alternative of this kind. The code is not much longer but the it's overall more complicated, and collisions are a bad issue.

ExtraDix is a sorting algorithm based on Radixsort. It is faster than Quicksort, stable, realized in C and can sort by any basic data type. Testing was done with 1 million data records sorting char, short, int, long, float, double and strings.
At rural colleges and similar settings, people form very distinct paths in the snow as they walk across open spaces. This program models that process. The evolving condition of the snow is displayed graphically. Snowpath may be used as a screensaver.
