    tcplite

    a minimalistic TCP/IP stack for 16-bit DOS

This is an ABANDONED project. It was actually never meant to be become anything serious - rather an experiment. Still, tcplite managed to handle ARP, IP and UDP packets. TCP was half-baked at the moment I decided to abort the project, due to higher priorities. Maybe I will reboot tcplite one day. Or maybe not.

    TCPCopy

    TCPCopy

An online request replication tool, also a tcp stream replay tool

TCPCopy is a TCP stream replay tool to support real testing of Internet server applications. Although the real live flow is important for the test of Internet server applications, it is hard to simulate it as online environments are too complex. To support more realistic testing of Internet server applications, we develop a live flow reproduction tool - TCPCopy, which could generate the test workload that is similar to the production workload. Currently, TCPCopy has been widely used by...

    Wi-PWN

    Wi-PWN

ESP8266 firmware for performing deauthentication attacks

...A deauthentication attack is often confused with Wi-Fi jamming, as they both block users from accessing Wi-Fi networks. The 802.11 Wi-Fi protocol contains a so-called deauthentication frame. It is used to disconnect clients safely from a wireless network. Because these management packets are unencrypted, you just need the MAC to address of the Wi-Fi router and of the client device which you want to disconnect from the network. You don’t need to be in the network or know the password, it’s enough to be in its range. With the 802.11w-2009 updated standards, management frames are encrypted by default.

    NetFireCoRE

    NetFireCoRE

Network Firewall Linux Kernel Module with Conflict Resolution Engine

We implement an open source conflict resolution framework that consists of a user-space C application that automatically resolves firewall rules anomalies, and b) a generic tree (called policy tree), implemented as a Linux kernel module which maintains the resolved firewall rules and enables the necessary hooks to netfilter for matching incoming (or outgoing) network packets. Tree-based data structures offer improved efficiency compared to traditional access control lists (e.g. iptables or nftable maps), especially for large systems with a huge number of rules. Preliminary analysis from our implementation on ARM-based embedded systems examines efficiency and scalability of our framework. To reference this work: A. ...

    facebook-tunnel

    facebook-tunnel

Tunneling Internet traffic over Facebook chat

facebook-tunnel is an experimental project that explores tunneling internet traffic through Facebook chat messages. Its core idea is to encode packets as Base64 and send them through chat-based communication rather than a normal network tunnel. The project uses TUN/TAP networking concepts and includes components for interacting with Facebook login, message sending, and message receiving. It depends on tools and libraries such as Gumbo parser, libcurl, TUN/TAP support on Linux, GCC, G++, CMake, and related build components. ...

    Secure Internet Live Conferencing

    Secure Internet Live Conferencing

    Secure chat and conferencing protocol

...SILC provides common chat and conferencing services like private messages, instant messages, channels and groups, and video and audio conferencing. The main difference to other protocols is that SILC has been designed with security as its main feature. All packets and messages sent in SILC network are always encrypted. Private messages are encrypted end-to-end, channel message are encrypted with channel-wide secret key and secure file transfer is protected peer-to-peer.

    pgen

    Low level network packet generator

pgen is a packet generator tool. Useful for creating various kinds network packets based on a user passed configuration file. pgen builds packet from ether-header itself and it uses a RAW socket to send the packet. So you need to posses root priviledge to use pgen. pgen is a stand-alone binary. As of now it doesn't depend on any library other than glibc. And in future also we will work harder to achieve this.

    Network Emulator

Distributed Network emulation tool for high rate packet

...So if you are interested and have C/C++ programming skills, please contact me at zahid.med@gmail.com This framework allows to emulate a network by managing ethernet packets coming from two kind of interfaces: UDP and virtual network card. This tool is similare to dynamips (GNS3) but it can manager a higher packet rate. It can help to study DDoS attacks based on Botnet using the Lightweigth C++ Virtual Machine (LwCVM) in order to emulate Bots. This project is based on the following projects and libraries: LightweighIP of the TCP/IP stack pthread libpcap for communication with virtual machines dynamips Linux MicroCore

    Daemonlogger

    Daemonlogger

Daemonlogger is a packet logger and soft tap developed by Martin Roes

Daemonlogger is a packet logger and soft tap developed by Martin Roesch. The libpcap-based program has two runtime modes: 1. It sniffs packets and spools them straight to the disk and can daemonize itself for background packet logging. By default the file rolls over when 2 GB of data is logged. 2. It sniffs packets and rewrites them to a second interface, essentially acting as a soft tap. It can also do this in daemon mode. These two runtime modes are mutually exclusive, if the program is placed in tap mode (using the -I switch) then logging to disk is disabled. ...

    pipedump

Proxies data from stdin/stdout/stderr and logs it in pcap files.

The pipedump forks a process and then executes the specified command, acting as a proxy for STDIN, STDOUT, and STDERR. Debug data and data sent to STDIN are recorded as a IPv6 UDP packets traversing from ::1 to ::. Data received from STDOUT and STDERR are recorded as a IPv6 UDP packets traversing from :: to ::1. STDIN is recorded as port 19840, STDOUT as port 19841, STDERR as port 19842 and debug information as port 65535. The captured data is recorded in a file which can be read by network analyzing tools capable of parsing PCAP files.
