This driver is derived from the PWC driver found in the Linux kernel. It adds V4L2 controls (`V4L2_CID_FLASH_STROBE/STROBE_STOP`) to drive the led present on some cameras. It also synchronously sets the video mode when power_save is off. The messages are transmitted using the SIA DC-03-1990.01 (R2000.11) protocol. The decoded messages are stored in a database (MySQL) or forwarded by email using ssmtp. The program ttylog is a serial port logger which can be used to print everything that comes in to a serial device to stdout. The device and the baud rate can be specified on the command line and a timeout can be set instead of just killing the process in order to stop it. You can also elect to have the output being sent to standard out to be time stamped. -
