A modified pngnq: convert png images to 256 colours.
...pngnq-s9 adds several new options to pngnq including the ability to augment a user-supplied palette, the ability to quantize in the YUV colour space, and the ability to give more or less weight to specific colour components when quantizing. The program also includes a few bug fixes relative to the most recent version of pngnq. The .tar.gz files have been known to compile on Unix type systems, including Cygwin. The only external dependencies are libpng and zlib. For Windows users, we have a 32 bit binary, in pngnq-s9-2.0.2.zip, that should run as is on most modern Windows machines. -

Creating and replaying music with the system requires the following components * An XM-to-LTM module converter program (part of this Sourceforge project) * An LTM replayer routine for MSX and MoonSound (part of this Sourceforge project) * An XM music tracker such as MilkyTracker, running on PC/Windows, Linux or Mac. ...This is not an example of good or fast (oo)Rexx programming, it is merely a demonstration of the Porter stemming routine ported to ooRexx, use and modify as necessary. Input to the program is a textfile with words to be stemmed, one per line. Output from the program ends up in the terminal window (standard out) and may be redirected to an output file. Syntax: rexx ooPorter myInputfile.txt > myOutputfile.txt The program only works for stemming English words. The source code is distributed under a free beer license; you are free to use the ooRexx source code as you please and no restrictions whatsoever apply as far as the type of beer is involved. -

OLego is a program specifically designed for de novo spliced mapping of mRNA-seq reads. OLego adopts a seeding and extension scheme, and does not rely on a separate external mapper.
