Curator also supports themes and plugins, making it easy to customize storefronts and extend functionality over time. Dashing

    Dashing

Dashboard framework in Ruby and Coffeescript

Dashing is a Sinatra based framework that lets you build beautiful dashboards. Every new Dashing project comes with sample widgets & sample dashboards for you to explore. The directory is setup as follows. Assets, all your images, fonts, and js/coffeescript libraries. Uses Sprockets. Dashboards, one .erb file for each dashboard that contains the layout for the widgets. Jobs, your ruby jobs for fetching data (e.g for calling third party APIs like twitter). Lib, optional ruby files to help out your jobs. Public, static files that you want to serve. A good place for a favicon or a custom 404 page. Widgets, all the html/css/coffee for individual widgets. Widgets use batman bindings in order to update their contents. Whenever the data changes, the DOM will automatically reflect the changes. Dashing uses gridster.js to create a layout for your widgets. Each widget is part of an unordered list.

    DataQualityDashboard

    DataQualityDashboard

A tool to help improve data quality standards in data science

The goal of the Data Quality Dashboard (DQD) project is to design and develop an open-source tool to expose and evaluate observational data quality. This package will run a series of data quality checks against an OMOP CDM instance (currently supports v5.4, v5.3 and v5.2). It systematically runs the checks, evaluates the checks against some pre-specified threshold, and then communicates what was done in a transparent and easily understandable way. The quality checks were organized according to the Kahn Framework1 which uses a system of categories and contexts that represent strategies for assessing data quality. Using this framework, the Data Quality Dashboard takes a systematic-based approach to running data quality checks. Instead of writing thousands of individual checks, we use “data quality check types”. These “check types” are more general, parameterized data quality checks into which OMOP tables, fields, and concepts can be substituted to represent a singular data quality idea.

    Date Range Picker

    Date Range Picker

JavaScript date range, date and time picker component

Date Range Picker is a customizable date range, date and time picker component. Originally created for reports at Improvely, the Date Range Picker can be attached to any webpage element to pop up two calendars for selecting dates, times, or predefined ranges like "Last 30 Days". This date range picker component creates a dropdown menu from which a user can select a range of dates. I created it while building the UI for Improvely, which needed a way to select date ranges for reports. Features include limiting the selectable date range, localizable strings and date formats, a single date picker mode, a time picker, and predefined date ranges. To get started, include jQuery, Moment.js and Date Range Picker's files in your webpage. You can customize Date Range Picker with options, and get notified when the user chooses new dates by providing a callback function. Several events are triggered on the element you attach the picker to.
