HCP Chargeback Collector collects usage data from HCP
Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) is a Content Store (and/or archival) platform sold by Hitachi Data Systems (www.hds.com). HCP (as of version 4.0 and later) provides chargeback data to the user via the Management API and through the management console for either the system and the tenants. Unfortunately, HCP keeps chargeback data for 180 days, only. If one wants to be prepared for queries that will (dictated by Murphy’s law) occur later then 180 days after HCPs installation, he’s in the need to pull the data from HCP on a regular basis and store it ‘somewhere’. That's where HCP Chargeback Collector steps in. Run regularly, it will build a database, holding chargeback data as long as needed.
