    Mckay’s App Template

    Mckay’s App Template

This is the template I use to start new full-stack projects

Mckay’s App Template is a full-stack starter template maintained by Mckay Wrigley, intended to help developers quickly bootstrap modern web applications without spending time on boilerplate setup. The template includes a frontend built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and often UI components/frameworks like Shadcn + Framer Motion; a backend stack using PostgreSQL, Supabase, and Drizzle ORM for database operations; authentication via Clerk; and optional payment integration using Stripe. Nix Output Monitor

    Nix Output Monitor

Pipe your nix-build output through the nix-output-monitor

...This was an experiment to write something fun and useful in Haskell, which proved to be useful to quite a lot of people. By now, nom is quite fully featured with support for nix v1 commands (e.g. nix-build) and nix v2 commands (e.g. nix build). At this point it seems like I will maintain nom until better UX options for nix arrive. Every entry in the nom tree stands for one derivation. No build will be printed twice in the tree, it will only be shown for the lowermost dependency. Use the colors from above to read the summary.

    JavaScript Stack from Scratch

    JavaScript Stack from Scratch

Tutorial to build a modern JavaScript stack

...It focuses on wiring tools together and giving you the simplest possible example for each tool. You can see this tutorial as a way to write your own boilerplate from scratch. Since the goal of this tutorial is to assemble various tools, I do not go into details about how these tools work individually. Refer to their documentation or find other tutorials if you want to acquire deeper knowledge in them. You don't need to use this entire stack if you build a simple web page with a few JS interactions of course (a combination of Browserify/Webpack + Babel + jQuery is enough to be able to write ES6 code in different files), but if you want to build a web app that scales, and need help setting things up, this tutorial will work great for you.

DiffStats counts added, moved and deleted LOC in a diff file

...It was designed for Java code, but will work with other languages, like C++. It ignores blank lines and comment line, if they start with a //, /* or *. This project was made to complete another project because I was unable to find anything else like it. I posted it to see if anyone else had interest. So I would appreciate it if anyone who has tried this project would please post a review. I understand this is a very simple project, but if there is interest, I would expand it.

    Procbyte - Binary Scripting Language

Script language for processing binary data

...The next upload will standardize the language to the point where any scripts that work in it will work in all future versions -- however, scripts written for this version may not work in subsequent ones, the (mostly output) commands have changed: , ; . =* etc. Sorry for that, but I had to rework a bit to get more possible tokens and increase future expandability. If there's demand, I'll include a converter for old scripts, either as a filter or command-line interpreter so you'll be able to pipe through an additional step or use `convert_old_procb "MY-OLD-SCRIPT"` or something like that.
