BACloud is a collection of software for managing very large BACnet networks. It is composed of two pieces, a "tap" that participates in a BACnet network and connects using SSL to a "server" that is a web application used to supervise and manage the connected taps. The tap is a derivative of the BFR project, the server is based on Tornado with a MongoDB backend, uses RabbitMQ for messaging, Redis for caching and statistics, and BACpypes for BACnet communications.

The project consists of the infrastructure to remotely control apliances (eg. turn the cofee maker on from a web page)
Needed parts:
- an arduino uno board (www.arduino.cc).
- a circuit board for the relays.
- a PC connected to the arduino.
- python 2.7 to run the server.
- port forwarding to the PC for remote access.
