Acorn is an open source project and completely free to use. Acorn is a framework for integrating Laravel within WordPress. Acorn provides a way to gracefully load a Laravel application container inside of WordPress while respecting the WordPress lifecycle and template hierarchy. Acorn includes WP-CLI commands that provide a familiar Artisan-like command line interface for WordPress. Create components, and service providers, clear the view cache, and more.

Symfony BrowserKit is a PHP library that simulates a web browser for testing purposes. It allows developers to make HTTP requests, interact with web forms, and test responses without requiring a real browser. BrowserKit is useful for functional testing and works seamlessly with Symfony’s HTTP client and other testing components, providing a robust environment for web application testing.

YOURLS stands for Your Own URL Shortener. It is a small set of PHP scripts that will allow you to run your own URL shortening service (a la TinyURL or Bitly). Running your own URL shortener is fun, geeky and useful: you own your data and don't depend on third-party services. It's also a great way to add branding to your short URLs, instead of using the same public URL shortener everyone uses. Private (your links only) or Public (everybody can create short links, fine for an intranet). Terrific Plugin architecture and dozens of plugins to easily implement new features. Awesome stats, historical click reports, referrers tracking, visitors geo-location. Includes sample files to create your own public interface and much more!

Goutte is a screen scraping and web crawling library for PHP. Goutte provides a nice API to crawl websites and extract data from the HTML/XML responses. Goutte depends on PHP 7.1+. Add fabpot/goutte as a require dependency in your composer.json file. Create a Goutte Client instance (which extends Symfony\Component\BrowserKit\HttpBrowser). Make requests with the request() method. The method returns a Crawler object (Symfony\Component\DomCrawler\Crawler). To use your own HTTP settings, you may create and pass an HttpClient instance to Goutte. For example, to add a 60 second request timeout. Read the documentation of the BrowserKit, DomCrawler, and HttpClient Symfony Components for more information about what you can do with Goutte. Goutte is a thin wrapper around the following Symfony Components: BrowserKit, CssSelector, DomCrawler, and HttpClient.

This is an extremely complicated and almost completely useless browser-sniffing library. Useless because you shouldn't use browser sniffing. So stop right now and go read something about feature detecting instead. I'm serious. Go away. You'll thank me later. There is always an exception to the rule. There are valid reasons to do browser sniffing: to improve the user experience or to gather intelligence about which browsers are used on your website. My website is html5test.com and I wanted to know which score belongs to which browser. To do that you need a browser sniffing library. Almost all browsers say they are Netscape 5 and almost all WebKit browsers say they are based on Gecko. Even Internet Explorer 11 now no longer claims to be IE at all, but instead, an unnamed browser that is like Gecko. And it gets worse. That is why it is complicated.

KCFinder is an alternative to the CKFinder web file manager. It can be integrated into FCKeditor, CKEditor, and TinyMCE WYSIWYG web editors to upload and manage images, flash movies, and other files that can be embedded in generated HTML content.

There's many great tools out there for web design like Adobe Edge Animate, Google Web Designer, and Adobe Proto (Except discontinued for android), but these tools are only good for those users who are running Windows, Mac OS X, or the iOS platforms. I however couldn't find a decent website designer for Linux or Android so I decided to make my own as a fun experiment.
