JSettlers2 is a web-based version of the board game Settlers of Catan written in Java. This client-server system supports multiple simultaneous games between people and/or AI bots. Its the common tictactoe game, developed in java, with client/server configuration so it can be played over a network. It can be played in a 3x3 board or 4x4 board. There are more options but some of them are not implemented. I'm only putting this here now (2012) but this was one of the projects for a University course in 2003, when I was still a student. I just thought I should put this some place safe, and so... here it is!

...The first version will be playing the classical Gomoku game, and this version is called "Architect I". This project also shows the rich features of the next generation Java graphical user interface. The GUI of this application was built using JavaFX 2.0 which was entirely written in Java. Although as been announced, JavaFX 3.0 will be integrated into JRE in next year, at this point, you still need a separate runtime evironment.
