Being interested in chess for two decades now, i designed a chess variant in which the intrinsic White advantage is compensated by removing the f2 and c7 pawns (calibrated by engine analysis). Also, in such a way detailed knowledge of opening theory is not important anymore (but it still looks more like normal chess than Chess960, also called 'Freestyle' nowadays.... ). -
