Version for SME 7.4 was delivered with a patch for a new way of managing backups for notebooks (notebook opens a socket to director to pass through firewalls thus allowing to backup while notebook is away). Bacula patch is currently reevaluated in order to see if we'll propose again to bacula or bareos
