Light Backup Creator BETA is a light weight and handy tool for all. It is fast portable and can be used on almost all computers. This is still in BETA so I plan to add more features. ...This plugin and the "check_backuppc" check sligtly different things, and in different was. You can use both... Tested on: BackupPC 3.2.1 / Ubuntu 12.04 Should work in most similar systems i think. Let me know otherwise (create a ticket!). Installation is easy: Just put the check-script inyour nagios server, and the other (included) script somewhere so that the check-script can find it (e.g. in the $PATH, or edit the check script for a custom location).

Since none of the MySQL backup scripts i could find satisfied my needs, I created this one. It does full backups remotelly or incrementals locally. Read comments on the code to configure it.

Very simple disk synchronization suitable for maintaining a backup directory. I built it to keep Photos and MP3s on my NAS in sync with my laptop and desktop. Will do one-way or two-way (mirrored), but does not delete. All Java, no GUI.

This one is a backupscript which works with rsync and OpenSSH keys to automate a simple two stage backup on one masterserver over network secure! 19 years later I must say it was a great idea doing it, even though it's too premature to call it anything beyond a project :-).
