...This is a simple utility that you can run on your desktop and it will simply move the mouse every 60 seconds if it is not moved. this timing can be changed of course. This is an AutoIT app and can be compiled by you is you so choose or an exe is available for you to use out of the box. This runs in the system tray. You can quit the app by right clicking on the sys tray and choosing END. I realize that this is a workaround to the Authortiarian mentality that MS has switched to that does not care about users suggestions. It uses a simple hot hey combination of holding down the following keys ctrl-alt-b This will simply kill the hung exe that is consuming literally gigs of memory. the exe that I see is : Diablo III64.exe and Diablo III.exe The application silently runs in the background and waits for the combination of keys to be held down and will kill said application above. First off, please note that there are 3 modules not included in the .exe so I compiled these to a .zip to make for a quicker download. Extract the .zip and keep all files together. It's pretty self-explanatory. Run the .exe, on first run you are forced to put in new hotkeys. You can select modifiers, but you don't have to. Only one modifier can be used per hotkey. Select a key from the keylist (Drop down menu). -
