Open Source Mac Auto Typer Software

AutoText is a text expander(auto-typer) application that can minimize time that you spent typing phrases that your often use. You can bind an abbreviation(autotext) to some text snippet, phrase or sentence and that text will be automatically typed by AutoText each time you type the abbreviation. Keyboard keys press/hold/toggle is supported by using macros. AutoText works in any Windows program.

Hooks your keys to only type the thing you selected. Run the command line script. Enter the number of times to repeat the text. Enter wherever to reverse the text or not. Enter what characters the text should contain (Enter for everything). Enter what characters the text should begin with (Enter for everything). Press Windows Shift S and select the area of the text. Press Enter to detect the text. Wait until the program displays the text. Press Enter to start typing. Then start typing, the program will "rewrite" the keys to the correct ones (By default only letters are enabled. To enable additional keys enter them to the file.) Best and free autotyper ever. Make sure Python is installed. Windows users may directly download exe file and use it. But the above commands are useful when the system doesn't have access to administrator access. There is no hotkeys support and no executable file for macOS as of now. Use autotyper with GUI buttons. And must allow accessibility access to python (pop up will appear only for the first time).

Run, enter the text you want repeatedly typed, enter the amount of time you want the text repeated (or sent) and enter the delay (can be 0). Please use this software responsibly as some applications can terminate your account by spamming messages (as per their individual ToS). No responsibility is held should your account be suspended, rate-limited or terminated. Most applications, however will allow you to send several hundred messages by ratelimiting you (such as Discord, you can send upwards of 1000 messages, but it'll take a few minutes for them all to send).
