pam-html is a pam module to do pam authentication over the HTTP protocol. In contrary to pam-http it doesn't use a http-auth request but passes the parameters in the GET method.

pam-openvpn is a Linux PAM-module which works together with OpenVPN. With this pam-module it is possible to establish vpn connections when a user logs into a system and tear down the connection when the user logs off. This is ideal for mobile systems.

pam_krb5 is designed to allow smooth integration of Kerberos 5 passwordchecking with applications built using PAM. It also supports session-specific ticket files (which are neater), Kerberos IV ticket file grabbing, and AFS token-grabbing.

pam_ldap extensions and tools. Here you will find several patches for pam_ldap adding features like time-based login, restriction of login-count and comand-line tools to maintain useraccounts.

passport-local is a Passport strategy module for Node.js that enables user authentication using traditional username and password credentials, making it ideal for web applications that require simple, form-based login systems. It plugs directly into the Passport middleware ecosystem and lets developers define precisely how users are looked up and verified against stored credentials, which can be adapted to any database or user store. Instead of managing authentication logic manually in every route, passport-local centralizes the process through a strategy interface where you provide a function to find and validate the user. Once integrated with an Express-based application, it handles reading credentials from requests, invoking your verification logic, and managing success or failure flows, all while cooperating with session middleware to serialize authenticated users.

What these code modifications do, is to create a single sign on across different, multiple domains for both phpbb and other sites/codes/apps to use. These modifications use phpbb user tables, sessions, everything. What it does is to set cookies for each domain through using iframes, which load some connect.php file that is placed on the other remote domains which needs authentication from phpbb. This is how numerous sites like facebook do it. Currently there is no other way of legally setting cookies for different domains than the one that is active. You have to have a page that loads up all the cookie setting codes from remote domains. However the loading up of authentication page, the remote authenticator pages in their iframes, and the redirection is VERY fast, taking only 1 seconds or 1.5 seconds. just like how you see in facebook etc - or any other site that uses this method. All files contain extensive comments, and also include configuration variables to change.

pyadselfservice is a software created using Python 3.5 and Django 1.10. This project aims to provide web based password change interface to the end users, for their Active Directory account. While changing the password, users won't not need to enter their current password. Which means users can change their password even if they have forgotten their current password. Moreover, while changing the password, this software will automatically unlock the user account if it is locked. The authenticity of the user is verified against 2 factor authentication. The first factor is validation of 3 different AD attributes. User will need to provide 3 different information which only he will know such as Home Telephone, Pin Code or any new AD attribute say PIN, Date of Birth, Date of Joining etc. The second factor is One Time Password (OTP). After successful validation of First Factor, a OTP is sent to the Email address of the user, may it be official or personal.
