Metronome and Click Track generator for Android
The project is divided into two main sections: a metronome and a click track generator. The metronome is intended as a practice aid for musicians. It loops a single bar of click track that is specified by the user. The user can select the time signature, beat division, beat grouping, bar emphasis and beat emphasis. The click track generator is intended as a song practice aid for single musicians or an entire band. Just like when recording int the studio, it provides a constant benchmark for the tempo. Both the metronome and click track are generated dynamically and played using the build in audio libraries of android. This provides a highly precise click.
RasmusDSP is an embeddable Audio/MIDI processor. It contains various filters and generators (including SoundFont 2.0 compatible synthesizer). Has a script interpreter which is used to describe instruments, route Audio/MIDI signal between processor units.

Synthesizer, mixing, sound effects, music composition and production.
This kangaroo-themed program allows the user to create their own music and sound effects, effectively from scratch. There are two variants of the program: Kangas Sound Editor which requires MySQL for its database, and Kangas Sound Editor QI which does not (it uses an internal database - HSQLDB - instead). Kangas Sound Editor (QI) uses a system of boxes or cells, which are placed by the user onto a timeline using drag-and-drop, and which represent entities such as chords, repetition, and individual sounds or notes. The program's database allows the user to create and store harmonics, used for constructing melodic instruments, and anti-harmonics, which are used for constructing percussion instruments. Users can collaborate with and build on the work of others via an XML import/export facility.
Software provides two features, 1. To identify the musical notes in a given audio file which the singer is singing at. 2. To let a user practice singing individual notes of Indian music, with graphical representation of his performance.
FluidGUI is a graphical user interface for FluidSynth (www.fluidsynth.org), an open-source software synthesizer based on the MIDI and Sound Font specifications. FluidGUI is developed in the Java programming language.
Continuous choice of string resonance at each point live music in CPU
Nonlinearly change frequencies and echos for live music by CPU. I found a way to normalize 1d wavefunction amplitude so this hack and its random heat vibrations are still unitary, even while microphone vibrating adds energy to part of 1d string of position and speed scalar arrays. The sparse part is, while the arrays are perfectly dense and linear, time is sparse when some springs vibrate with a larger multiplier of position subtracted from speed. In other words, this hack is a quanta level discontinuous field but in theory may be continuous as change in natural resonance frequency (what part of the "guitar string" would vibrate as if nothing acted on it) These few kilobytes of java code, many versions of CochleaSim.java and JSoundCard0.5 as an easily replaced dependency that reads microphone and writes to speakers as numbers ranging -1 to 1 44100 times per second, which is where SparseDoppler hooks in its array, microphone at one end and speakers hear the sum of the whole string.
Artificial intelligence evolves musical instruments played with mouse
Artificial Intelligence (AI) evolves musical instruments you play with the mouse from small blocks of Java code that operate on numbers, each block designed to keep all numbers in range -1 to 1 if they started in that range, and combinations of these evolved codes running 44100 times per second for high quality 44.1 khz audio. You can also write the Java code into its window. Uses Javassist internal compiler on the new Java code assembled by renaming variables to overlap eachother and reordering, copying, and removing blocks of code. This branched into my other projects: GigaLineCompile, JSelfModify, JSoundCard, and Human AI Net as I got more into the AI and systems side of things and explored vision research as a better user interface to network minds together through the Internet. A fair attempt at the Keplerian tradition to explore the solar system
Nowadays the idea of a music of the spheres, or a cosmic music that descends from the planets seems more like poetic philosophy than anything scientific. However, when the scientist Kepler discovered special principles about planetary motion, he also reconsidered the music. Apparently his observance of a harmonic law of planetary motion was reason for him to propose a computable system of pitch and harmony deriving from angular velocity. The purpose of the programming project is as a tool to examine his system. With Java 2, it provides an open-source solution for listening to harmonies so generated by planetary motion. Theremin synthesizer for Android devices
Etheric Synthesizer (EtherSynth) is a theremin-like synthesizer application for Android platform, which allow you to play otherworldly melody by swiping finger on the screen. Though It does not closely imitate a real theremin as Etheric Synthesizer uses only one finger to play. It currently supports monophonic note playing with configurable waveform, frequency scale, control area, and control orientation. Basic recording function is also included (WAVE format). Etheric Synthesizer works on Android version 2.0 and above.
