Designed to enhance the X32 digital console
The Live Toolbox is designed to enhance the very popular Behringer X32 digital mixing consoles. Even though the X32 firmware has been updated frequently over the years with new improvements and features, it does not seem to be able to keep up with the numerous feature requests. This toolbox is an attempt to supplement the current features. As with any toolbox, tools can be added or removed as necessary.
The Pure Data (short Pd) project on SourceForge unifies the extensions (or externals) written for the Pure Data Graphical Computer Music System written by Miller Puckette with contributions from many others.
General C++ Library, with modules for Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition and much more.
Designed to enhance the new X-Air digital mixer
The X-Air Live Toolbox is designed to enhance the new Behringer X-Air digital mixing consoles by supplementing current features with tools requested on the Behringer forum. As with any toolbox, tools can be added or removed as necessary.
Feel the music
Best level of equalization sound, convert your audio format, listen web radio, show music representation with spectrum and VU metter. Set equalization in played music, apply effects. Feel the difference and change your experience to listen music.
A loudspeaker phase linearization, EQ and filtering tool
rePhase is a FIR generation tool for building fully linear-phase active crossovers with arbitrary slopes. It also let you manually compensate for the phase shifts of your loudspeakers and existing crossovers, be it active or passive. Once generated, the FIR can be applied using any hardware (openDRC, miniSHARC, Najda, ...) or software (foobar, convolver, JRiver, ...), stereo or multi-way convolution engine. Linux Studio Plugins Project
LSP (Linux Studio Plugins) is a collection of open-source plugins currently compatible with LADSPA, LV2 and LinuxVST formats. Also standalone plugins for JACK are provided since version 1.0.8. The basic idea is to fill the lack of good and useful plugins under the GNU/Linux platform. After some contributions to other open source projects the decision was made to implement separate and independent plugin distribution.
An X32 scene management tool
This parsing tool can be used to extract sections of a Behringer X32 scene in order to create specialized snippets.
An X-Air scene management tool
The X-Air does not include snippets (like the X32), This parsing tool is a port of the X32 Scene Parser that can be used to create modified scene files can function like snippets.
Visualization plugin for XMMS, the X Multimedia System. Plugin uses OpenGL for rendering and scripts to define visualization types you want.
As a library of classes for generating and manipulating music and sound, jMusic provides a solid framework for computer assisted composition in Java. jMusic has a music data structure based upon note/sound events and methods for modifying and structu
Audio spectrum visualiser in 3D for Linux
Spectrum3d is a software for Linux that displays the harmonics of the sound in 3D, either in real-time or from a preloaded file. It is multitouch and compatible with JACK. It uses OpenGL, SDL, Gstreamer, Gtk+ and (optionally) libjack.
Reorganize M32/X32 show files
Both the Midas M32 and Behringer X32 share the same design of show management using the console GUI, M32-Edit and X32-Edit apps. This app provides an alternative method to manage these show files (cues, scenes and snippets). It provides an easier method of reorganizing and importing/exporting of files.
A free multi-track audio editor and recorder
Audacity is a free, easy-to-use, multi-track audio editor and recorder for Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux and other operating systems. The interface is translated into many languages. The version currently hosted here is 2.1.0 (March 2015). More recent versions than this are available from http://www.audacityteam.org/download/ . Audacity is free software, developed by a group of volunteers and distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Programs like Audacity are also called open source software, because their source code is available for anyone to study or use. There are thousands of other free and open source programs, including the Firefox web browser, the LibreOffice or Apache OpenOffice office suites and entire Linux-based operating systems such as Ubuntu
VGMToolbox is a C# based tool to assist VGM collectors and dumpers. It includes tools to extract, optimize, and build VGM formats as well as auditing and exploration utilities. [GBS, KSS, MDX, NSF(E), SID, S98, SPC, VGM, XA, XMA, xSF (PSF/PSF2/etc)]
a bit-perfect audio editor that doesn't modify samples needlessly
WaveShop is an audio editor for Windows XP/Vista/7/8. Unlike many similar apps, WaveShop is bit-perfect, meaning samples aren't altered unless they need to be. Editing a portion of an audio file only affects that portion; the rest of the file is untouched. Blocks of audio can be cut and pasted without changing their contents at all. This is especially useful for patching a finished master without corrupting its dither.
Spectral Analysis and Synthesis of Sounds
This project provides two binaries, mostly identical in features: a command line application (using libpopt for option parsing), and a graphical application (using libgtkmm (version 2) for the GUI and libao for sound playing). It uses spectral modelling techniques for parameterized sound analysis and synthesis. For the analysis phase an STFT is done (using libfftw for doing FFTs), and then harmonic/sinusoidal analysis. For the synthesis phase additive synthesis is used. Using libsndfile for sound loading and saving allows to support many uncompressed sound file formats (WAV, AIFF, AU, headerless RAW, ...), and also OGG and FLAC, but MP3 isn't supported. Available parameters include window type, size, and overlapping; sinusoid discarding; equalization; time strechting, frequency scaling and shifting; frequency and amplitude interpolation; normalization; dynamic range compression and expansion, etc. It can be used to obtain new sounds, from existing sound files.
This is a Java Just Intonation Calculator. It allows users on many platforms to calculate and hear just tunings. It will support saving and opening tunigs and opening spreadsheet documents and allow users to send tunings to their synthesizers, via MIDI
Weakening effect on the MP3 audio encoder
Weakening effect on the MP3 audio encoder and the assimilation of the spectral characteristics of the source. Produced by applying empirical filter (derived from an analysis of a pair of flac-mp3) to the sound in the space R2. 1) Transfer the sound of the space R to R2 (mp3rsrr2); 2) Finding the empirical filter by OLS pair flac-mp3 (mp3rsols); 3) Apply a filter to the sound (mp3rsvalue); 4) Transfer the sound of the space R2 in space R (mp3rsr2r);
