This project aims to provide Linux users with a usable tool to title MiniDiscs using a portable MiniDisc Recorder (Sony MZ-R900 and MZ-R70 tested, but it should run on other MiniDisc recorders too) and a self-made interface for the parallel port (MDCOM).
Burnie is a collection of software to record and archive audio signals to harddisk and then burn them to multiple CDs simultaneously. Immediate CD copy to multiple drives is also supported. User interface is provided by a serial touchscreen.
Another shell script that combines cdda2wav with various encoders. Creates mp3, ogg, flac from CD-data. Creates also an cdinfo.xml file which contains all essential information about the encoded CD and can be used for various purposes.
