...It also includes tools for managing and profiling large music collections and for checking audio for production errors. jMIR includes software for extracting features, applying machine learning algorithms, applying heuristic error error checkers, mining metadata and analyzing metadata.
Easily find and remove duplicates from a music collection
...IL Music Library Deduplicator is portable and doesn't require instalation and also is free. It is written in Python and is using Chromaprint fpcalc for audio fingerprinting. It can find duplicates even if audio files have no metadata or have a different filename.
Identify duplicate songs based on track metadata (ID3, etc)
Given two trees of audio files, examine the metadata for each file to try and determine the differences in the content of the trees. This helps find duplicate songs (or non-duplicated songs) even if the music is stored in different formats. Toggles let you determine how specific the matching criteria must be: Track number and song name? Artist, album, and track length? All of the above?
Connect your computer to your music/sound system and use your netbook, laptop, Apple, IPhone or smartphone to control the server from wherever you are. Perfect for parties, pubs... Access your audio, mp3 library remotely or dj from the dance floor.

It is an application for Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones that allows you to connect to other BluetunA users in range and share music recommendations. Mobile music, metadata sharing, Bluetooth applications, proximity-based interactions, social awareness
Goal of this project is to develop a piece of java-based software for handling of music files. The program identifies the provided music files using several techniques, retrieves the matching metadata from the internet and updates the file.
