Detection Classification and Localisation of marine mammals
The PAMGUARD project develops software to help detect, locate and classify marine mammals using Passive Acoustic Monitoring.
This project is being migrated to github at https://github.com/PAMGuard. Please go there for the latest updates.
thank you sourceforge for hosting us for all these years.
Software oscilloscope using Python and tkinter. Supports multiple sources: socket, file, audio, USB. Displays data by samples, time or frequency. Scales the input automatically or manually.
Identify duplicate songs based on track metadata (ID3, etc)
...However until the matching code gets a lot more reliable the only action allowed is to export the list of files suspected to be duplicated in both trees.
(Prerequisite: uses the `Mutagen' library to process ID3 data and `wx' for the UI.)
The latest code is always available via `git' but since there's undoubtedly a lot of bugs right now pre-packaged .ZIP files will only be made available for `big' changes.
Software oscilloscope using Python and tkinter. Supports multiple sources: socket, file, audio, USB. Displays data by samples, time or frequency. Scales the input automatically or manually. It has been renamed "pdatascope" to avoid a name-clash with Pyscope, a scoping package on PyPi. See https://sourceforge.net/p/pydatascope/ for the latest code.
Extremely Lightweight Beat Detection Algorithm - BeatDetektor uses a very simple statistical model designed from scratch by myself to detect the BPM of music and provides real-time feedback useful for visualization and synchronization.
HCI for audiovisual live performance exploiting physical computing.
Transform your standard musical instrument - electric bass, guitar, violin, piano etc - in an augmented tool, an audiovideo controller without exploiting any specific ext. hardware.
A visualization of the fourier transform applied to sound data. Analyzes a time-domain sound sample using the Fourier Transform, and graphically displays the results and sound in real time. Attempts to audio into sheet music.
Sonogram and waveform display programm for Unix using different algorithms like FFT and LPC to display musical features or potential artefacts that you may no be able to hear. Superimposed tuneable Staff-Lines allow for easy transcription of music.
NATSpectrum is a skinnable Spectrum Analyzer, Guitar Tuner, and Quick Volume Control. NS visualization mimics WinAMP 2.x style. NS is written in pure Win32 C++ and uses DirectDraw and DirectSound. (FFT, Frequency, Mixer, Microphone, DirectX, PNG, Record)
