This simple console application requests two-line element sets (TLE) for given space satellites and saves it to the file. You can manage satellites by configuration file. First line of the config file is the API base address. You shouldn't change it usually. Second line of the file is the default API key. ...This Python TK application calculates a good set of stars for a 3 star fix, makes all calculations similar to the FAAs Celestial Computation Sheet (see FAA doc FAA-H-8083-18). Also, you can create a PDF file that generates Pub 249 Vol 1 for any epoch you specify. The PUB249 as PDF is found under "Files". I wrote this for my aircraft bubble octant :-) It is mainly useful for air navigation as it assumes a bubble sextant but may be used for normal sextants as well. Requires Ephem and ReportLab (optional for PDF output) Not to be used for real-world navigation! -

PARot is a program for ultra fast and precise polar alignment of equatorial mounts. You can easily achieve alignment accuracy better than 1 arcmin in 5 minutes of time. Software to restore cyclorama (360 deg. panorama) from photos
...It was specially designed to restore panoramas obtained by Apollo missions in 1969-1972 but it can be used to restore any cyclorama from photos got in your tourist trip (for example). The main principle of the program is in projecting photos on a 360x360 sphere and combining it together. If you select a correct field of view (FOV) for photo images, its combination become ideal for distant points. For moon cyclorama it is also possible to check a Sun and Earth positions on the sky and to compare the result with a LOLA data (provided by the the LRO moon satellite).
