This driver is derived from the PWC driver found in the Linux kernel. It adds V4L2 controls (`V4L2_CID_FLASH_STROBE/STROBE_STOP`) to drive the led present on some cameras. It also synchronously sets the video mode when power_save is off. This driver may be used to control long exposure modded webcams (SPC900, TouCam,..) when the led is used to trigger long exposure (this avoids the use of an additional serial port). -

In addition to standard CCD features, it supports streaming with stream rate division, together with a real-time histogram display. This project is no longer under active development. It has been superceded by the alignment subsystem which is now part of the main INDI project. This project provides an "alignment layer" driver to sit above INDI telescope drivers. This layer performs transformation services for telescope coordinates as they pass up and down to the underlying driver.
