PreviSat is a satellite tracking software for observing purposes. Very easy to use, it shows positions of artificial satellites in real-time or manual mode. PreviSat is able to make predictions of their passes, predictions of MetOp and COSMO-SkyMed flares, transits of all satellites, predictions of Starlink satellites passes and several other calculations.

WAFIMPA is the abbreviation of "WArped FIsh-eye Mirror Projection Adjuster". This is small GUI application. It helps to setup spheric mirror projection systems that frequently used in small planetariums (generates warp-map and mplayer ppm files).

...The ouput cosmic-ray distribution is in the form of FITS files which however are not convenient for viewing or plotting with the standard ftools program fv, since the files have 4 or 5 dimensional arrays (due to the momentum and species axes) while fv handles only 3 dimensional arrays. This program converts to fv-compatible FITS files, either from 2D to (R,z) or from 3D to (x,z) at y=0 or (x,y) at z=0, in each case for a chosen cosmic-ray species. The third axis is momentum in each case. The distribution can be viewed with fv as a colour image, contoured, output to a file etc. The program is stand-alone and requires only the cfitsio library to be installed. ...This application is designed to sort FITS star image files taken by professional astronomers at observatories. The application sorts the files by their image type: Bias, Dark, Flat, and Object. The Flat and Object images are sorted by filters U, B, V, R, and I. The application allows the user to create and save a profile of a given observatory's FITS header format, for future sorting use. This application also provides a header viewer for FITS image file.

Xingtu, 星圖, "star map" in Chinese, shows stars with their traditional Chinese names. It can be used in Google Sky to make new discoveries from ancient history. Models based on BSC5 and other star maps are also released.

The aim of this project is to produce high-res/quality printable star maps according to your latitude. This projected was founded at the Deutsche SchülerAkademie Steinmühle 2004. It's a cooperation of the astronomy and cg courses.
