Galaxia is a code for generating a synthetic model of the galaxy. The input model can be analytical or one obtained from N-body simulations. The code outputs a catalog of stars according to user specified color magnitude limits.

This project contains a set of python scripts to perform SExtractor galaxy photometry simulations. It uses Galfit to simulate the galaxies and SExtractor for the photometry. INDI driver for mounts using the SkyWatcher Protocol through RS232
This INDIdriver interacts with a mount controller using the Skywatcher Protocol through a serial link. It can directly drive Skywatcher and similar mounts through a serial port after a conversion of signal levels (see EQDIRECT interface), or any other mount hardware which uses this protocol. This project is similar in its goal to the EQMOD/EQASCOM project, but for the Linux/INDI world. Thus the name of the INDI device is "EQMod Mount", and the driver executable is indi_eqmod_telescope.... -

Videoguide allows you to correct star position in case of bad guiding system of telescope. Here is software for videoguide, hardware part consists of PIC-ruled step motors, which tilt a glass plate, correcting by this tilt position of a star or other object. The guiding object is selected by operator in a part of video from gude's CCD-camera. Selected area can be preprocessing by wavelet-filter or median filter and/or histogram equalisation. -

AEPHEM is an astronomical ephemeris and reduction C library. It is compatible with JPL ephemerides. It has routines for the standard astrometric reductions, conversions between different time standards and transformations between coordinate systems.

Welcome to the StarFiles Homepage! This application is designed to sort FITS star image files taken by professional astronomers at observatories. The application sorts the files by their image type: Bias, Dark, Flat, and Object. The Flat and Object images are sorted by filters U, B, V, R, and I. The application allows the user to create and save a profile of a given observatory's FITS header format, for future sorting use. This application also provides a header viewer for FITS image file. -
