PSRCHIVE is an application suite and development library for use in the storage and analysis of pulsar astronomical data. It includes an extensive range of algorithms and tools commonly used in a wide variety of experiments.
The C-Munipack is an astrophotometry software package, which offers a complete solution for reduction of images carried out by CCD or DSLR camera, intended on a observation of variable stars, exoplanets and minor Solar System bodies. It provides a simple and intuitive graphical user interface.
DIY project to build a cover, flat panel or combo flip-flat panel
The DarkLight Cover/Calibrator (DLC) is a DIY project to build a motorized telescope cover, flat panel, or a combination flip-flat system. Its modular design supports various setups: a 12V light panel without a servo for a wall-mounted calibration panel, a servo-only cover for sky flats, or both integrated into a flip-flat mechanism. The DLC also includes optional dew heating to reduce extra equipment and cabling. With available drivers, it works with ASCOM or INDI.
We’re excited to...
Technological demo of OpenGL ES 2 for Android platform. It reads public NORAD satellite database and shows the satellite positions and altitude related to Earth in the form of beams (the height of the beam represents the relative altitude).
NOTE: The project has been moved to GitHub: https://github.com/nuald/glSatellite-Demo The old one stays here just for the historical reasons.
The 3D features present:
- OpenGL ES 2;
- rotating, multi-touch zooming and moving the globe;
- stars...
Optical design application geared to telescopes and other optical systems. Features include layout design, optimization, standard expected output, ability to import ZMX and LNS files
WAFIMPA is the abbreviation of "WArped FIsh-eye Mirror Projection Adjuster". This is small GUI application. It helps to setup spheric mirror projection systems that frequently used in small planetariums (generates warp-map and mplayer ppm files).
Celestia is an application for real-time 3D visualization of space, with a detailed model of the solar system, over 100,000 stars, more than 10,000 galaxies, and an extension mechanism for adding more objects.
L.E.I.C.A. (Long Exposure Internet CAmera) is an application that takes input from your webcam, or v4l2 device, and makes a long-exposure image.
Until now there's only a python binding for this app, soon there will be a C/C++ SDL one
Application for astronomical photos processing. Intended mainly for amateur astrophotography, for catching "beauty of the universe" rather than some serious scientific data. Includes automatic image registration.

This project gathers small tools aimed at controlling astronomical mounts driven with the INDI protocol. As of now, there is an "handcontroller" GUI application (Pad), which includes the use of a joypad device, and a helper for polar aligning an equatorial mount (Polar Align). Besides a small catalog browser/reader (Catalogs), and a more specific Align Viewer GUI application aimed at displaying current alignment data for the EQMod INDI driver.
