Astronomical object/structure detection from 1D and 2D data sets.
Sombrero is a fast wavelet image processing and object detection C library for astronomical images. Sombrero is named after the "Mexican Hat" shape of the wavelet masks used in image convolution and is released under the GNU LGPL library.
A toolset to automate STOP analysis with Zemax OpticStudio
...The output is saved in the MATLAB file format and can be post-processed using MATLAB and/or Mathematica routines. The optical system to analyze is defined in a normal Zemax lens file.
The core datastructure of SENSITIZER is an optical group, which can be any optical surface in the lens file or a set of subsequent surfaces. These groups will be perturbed by varying their positions relative to the rest of the system (rigid-body-motions) and/or by adding Zernike shape deformations on their front surface. After a certain perturbation is applied, ZOS runs (sequential) raytracing to compute the optical performance such as centroid displacement or wavefront error.
This program should compute ZHR from data contained in IMO VMDB (http://www.imo.net/data/visual), or other sources with same structure. ZHR should be calculated on arbitrary interval. It should produce analytical and graphical output.
N-body implementation of two important algorithm : Tree-code (Barnes-Hut) and FMM (Fast multipole Method). We provide this two algorithm with a new datastructure named compressed_octree.
