CP/M Plus on ZX Spectrum +3 has ability to load device drivers from normal disk files (with .fid extension) on boot. One of the most important devices for any disk operating system is the mass storage drive. Although ZXMMC device is available on the market for years and it works well with +3e firmware, partitions created on MMC cards could not be accessed from CP/M world. At some point it became so frustrating, I decided to write FID driver for it. It's not perfect, but it works surprisingly...

this is an os for x86 computers it is based on a number of other operating systems. i will keep you updated right now just cleaning up code.

Note: I haven't even looked at this project for years. I was a pretty bad programmer back then, so the code is sloppy. The next version will be better. Similar to a stream cipher, but rather than performing an exclusive OR on the input bytes and cipher, it performs a mixture of 'rolling' (see x86 instruction ROR) and bit NOT operations according to the key.

Tonix is an x86 PC operating system totally out of personal interest. I'm expecting the day my Tonix can play music, Internet surfing, or even playing movies :P And I'm sure I can see this day coming :)
