    cocoNLP

    cocoNLP

    A Chinese information extraction tool

cocoNLP is a lightweight natural-language processing toolkit geared toward practical information extraction from raw text, especially for Chinese and mixed Chinese–English content. Instead of requiring a heavy pipeline, it focuses on quick wins such as extracting names, places, organizations, emails, phone numbers, and dates directly from unstructured sentences. The project blends pattern-based methods with NLP heuristics, giving developers dependable results for real-world texts like chats, comments, and user-generated content. ...

    PyTorch pretrained BigGAN

    PyTorch pretrained BigGAN

PyTorch implementation of BigGAN with pretrained weights

...This PyTorch implementation of BigGAN is provided with the pretrained 128x128, 256x256 and 512x512 models by DeepMind. We also provide the scripts used to download and convert these models from the TensorFlow Hub models. This reimplementation was done from the raw computation graph of the Tensorflow version and behave similarly to the TensorFlow version (variance of the output difference of the order of 1e-5). This implementation currently only contains the generator as the weights of the discriminator were not released (although the structure of the discriminator is very similar to the generator so it could be added pretty easily.

    LibrePhotos

    LibrePhotos

A self-hosted open source photo management service

LibrePhotos is an open-source self-hosted photo management platform designed to organize, browse, and analyze personal media libraries while preserving user privacy. The system allows individuals to store and manage their photos and videos locally rather than relying on commercial cloud services. It provides features similar to services like Google Photos but runs on a private server controlled by the user. The application includes AI-powered tools that automatically analyze images to detect...

    Tacotron-2

    Tacotron-2

    DeepMind's Tacotron-2 Tensorflow implementation

Tacotron-2 is a TensorFlow implementation of DeepMind’s Tacotron-2 end-to-end text-to-speech architecture, which predicts mel spectrograms from raw text and then feeds them to a neural vocoder such as WaveNet. It reproduces the original paper’s hyperparameters exactly via paper_hparams.py, while also offering a tuned hparams.py with extra improvements that often yield better audio quality in practice. The repository is structured as a full training pipeline: dataset preparation, preprocessing into spectrograms, Tacotron training, WaveNet (or Griffin-Lim) vocoder training, and final waveform synthesis. ...

    Exposure

    Exposure

Learning infinite-resolution image processing with GAN and RL

Learning infinite-resolution image processing with GAN and RL from unpaired image datasets, using a differentiable photo editing model. ACM Transactions on Graphics (presented at SIGGRAPH 2018) Exposure is originally designed for RAW photos, which assumes 12+ bit color depth and linear "RGB" color space (or whatever we get after demosaicing). jpg and png images typically have only 8-bit color depth (except 16-bit pngs) and the lack of information (dynamic range/activation resolution) may lead to suboptimal results such as posterization. Moreover, jpg and most pngs assume an sRGB color space, which contains a roughly 1/2.2 Gamma correction, making the data distribution different from training images (which are linear). ...

    Five video classification methods

    Five video classification methods

Code that accompanies my blog post outlining five video classification

...So a 41-frame video and a 500-frame video will both be reduced to 40 frames, with the 500-frame video essentially being fast-forwarded. We won’t do much preprocessing. A common preprocessing step for video classification is subtracting the mean, but we’ll keep the frames pretty raw from start to finish.

    WikiSQL

    WikiSQL

A large annotated semantic parsing corpus for developing NL interfaces

A large crowd-sourced dataset for developing natural language interfaces for relational databases. WikiSQL is the dataset released along with our work Seq2SQL: Generating Structured Queries from Natural Language using Reinforcement Learning. Regarding tokenization and Stanza, when WikiSQL was written 3-years ago, it relied on Stanza, a CoreNLP python wrapper that has since been deprecated. If you'd still like to use the tokenizer, please use the docker image. We do not anticipate switching...
