    qiji-font

    qiji-font

Typeface from Ming Dynasty woodblock printed books

...Manually lay a grid on top of each page to generate bounding boxes for characters (potentially replaceable by an automatic corner-detection algorithm). Generate a low-poly mask for each character on the grid, and save the thumbnails (using OpenCV). First, red channel is subtracted from the grayscale, in order to clean the annotations printed in red ink. Next, the image is thresholded and fed into the contour-tracing algorithm. A metric is then used to discard shapes that are unlikely to be part of the character in interest.

    AliceMind

ALIbaba's Collection of Encoder-decoders from MinD

...We extend BERT to a new model, StructBERT, by incorporating language structures into pre-training. Specifically, we pre-train StructBERT with two auxiliary tasks to make the most of the sequential order of words and sentences, which leverage language structures at the word and sentence levels, respectively. Pre-trained models for natural language generation (NLG). We propose a novel scheme that jointly pre-trains an autoencoding and autoregressive language model on a large unlabeled corpus, specifically designed for generating new text conditioned on context. ...

    EfficientNet Keras

    EfficientNet Keras

Implementation of EfficientNet model. Keras and TensorFlow Keras

This repository contains a Keras (and TensorFlow Keras) reimplementation of EfficientNet, a lightweight convolutional neural network architecture achieving state-of-the-art accuracy with an order of magnitude fewer parameters and FLOPS, on both ImageNet and five other commonly used transfer learning datasets. Convolutional Neural Networks (ConvNets) are commonly developed at a fixed resource budget, and then scaled up for better accuracy if more resources are available. In this paper, we systematically study model scaling and identify that carefully balancing network depth, width, and resolution can lead to better performance. ...

    TGAN

    TGAN

Generative adversarial training for generating synthetic tabular data

...Currently, TGAN can generate numerical columns and categorical columns. TGAN has been developed and runs on Python 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7. Also, although it is not strictly required, the usage of a virtualenv is highly recommended in order to avoid interfering with other software installed in the system where TGAN is run. For development, you can use make install-develop instead in order to install all the required dependencies for testing and code listing. In order to be able to sample new synthetic data, TGAN first needs to be fitted to existing data.

    Serenata de Amor

    Serenata de Amor

Artificial Intelligence for social control of public administration

...The project was developed by a community of volunteers associated with Open Knowledge Brasil who believe that open data and technology can help citizens monitor government spending. It focuses on analyzing publicly available datasets related to reimbursements claimed by Brazilian congress members in order to detect suspicious or irregular expenses. Machine learning techniques and data analysis pipelines are used to identify anomalies that may indicate misuse of public funds. The system also includes automated tools that assist in processing large datasets and generating reports about potentially problematic transactions. By making both the data and the analysis tools open source, the project encourages civic participation and collaborative oversight of government activities.

Simple and ready-to-use tutorials for TensorFlow

This repository aims to provide simple and ready-to-use tutorials for TensorFlow. The explanations are present in the wiki associated with this repository. There are different motivations for this open source project. TensorFlow (as we write this document) is one of / the best deep learning frameworks available. The question that should be asked is why has this repository been created when there are so many other tutorials about TensorFlow available on the web? Deep Learning is in very high...

    Use Vim as IDE

    use vim as IDE

...The project isn’t just a single plugin; it’s more like a curated set of plugins, configuration tips, and workflow suggestions to enable syntax highlighting, smart code completion, project navigation, semantic search, file-switching, build-integration, undo-history, templating and more—particularly geared toward C/C++ development, but with many ideas applicable more broadly. The documentation is long and detailed, walking users from the fundamentals of Vim configuration (.vimrc, plugin management) through higher-order capabilities like semantic navigation and project toolchain integration. The philosophy: Vim already offers “what you need when you need it; what you want when you want it” and this repo shows how to tap that potential.

    EducationalLCS

eLCS - Educational Learning Classifier System

...This eLCS package includes 5 different implementations of a basic LCS algorithm, as part of a 6 stage set of demos that will be paired with the first introductory LCS textbook. Each eLCS implementations (from demo 2 up to demo 6) progressively add major components of the entire LCS algorithm in order to illustrate how work, how they are coded, and what impact they have on how an LCS algorithm runs. The Demo 6 version of eLCS is most similar to the UCS algorithm. Each version only includes the minimum code needed to perform the functions they were designed for. This way users can start by examining the simplest version of the code and progress forward. ...
