    BytePS

    BytePS

A high performance and generic framework for distributed DNN training

...In certain scenarios, BytePS can double the training speed compared with Horovod+NCCL. We show our experiment on BERT-large training, which is based on GluonNLP toolkit. The model uses mixed precision. We use Tesla V100 32GB GPUs and set batch size equal to 64 per GPU. Each machine has 8 V100 GPUs (32GB memory) with NVLink-enabled. Machines are inter-connected with 100 Gbps RDMA network. This is the same hardware setup you can get on AWS.

    CrypTen

    CrypTen

A framework for Privacy Preserving Machine Learning

...Designed to make secure computation accessible to machine learning practitioners, CrypTen introduces a CrypTensor object that behaves like a regular PyTorch tensor, allowing users to seamlessly apply automatic differentiation and neural network operations. Its design mirrors PyTorch’s modular and library-based structure, enabling flexible experimentation, debugging, and model development. The framework supports both encryption and decryption of tensors and operations such as addition and multiplication over encrypted values. Although not yet production-ready, CrypTen focuses on advancing real-world secure ML applications, such as training and inference over private datasets, without exposing sensitive data.

    Manifold ML

    Manifold ML

A model-agnostic visual debugging tool for machine learning

Manifold is a model-agnostic visual debugging tool for machine learning. Understanding ML model performance and behavior is a non-trivial process, given the intrisic opacity of ML algorithms. Performance summary statistics such as AUC, RMSE, and others are not instructive enough to identify what went wrong with a model or how to improve it. As a visual analytics tool, Manifold allows ML practitioners to look beyond overall summary metrics to detect which subset of data a model is inaccurately predicting. ...

    PixelCNN

    PixelCNN

Code for the paper "PixelCNN++: A PixelCNN Implementation..."

PixelCNN is the official implementation from OpenAI of the autoregressive generative model described in the paper Conditional Image Generation with PixelCNN Decoders. It provides code for training and evaluating PixelCNN models on image datasets, focusing on conditional image modeling where pixels are generated sequentially based on the values of previously generated pixels. The repository demonstrates how to apply masked convolutions to enforce autoregressive dependencies and achieve tractable likelihood-based training. ...

    Image Super-Resolution (ISR)

    Image Super-Resolution (ISR)

Super-scale your images and run experiments with Residual Dense

...Docker scripts and Google Colab notebooks are available to carry training and prediction. Also, we provide scripts to facilitate training on the cloud with AWS and Nvidia-docker with only a few commands. When training your own model, start with only PSNR loss (50+ epochs, depending on the dataset) and only then introduce GANS and feature loss. This can be controlled by the loss weights argument. The weights used to produce these images are available directly when creating the model object. ISR is compatible with Python 3.6 and is distributed under the Apache 2.0 license.

    jieba

    jieba

    Stuttering Chinese word segmentation

...The search engine mode, on the basis of the precise mode, divides the long words again to improve the recall rate, which is suitable for word segmentation in search engines. The paddle mode uses the PaddlePaddle deep learning framework to train the sequence labeling (bidirectional GRU) network model to achieve word segmentation. Also supports part-of-speech tagging. To use paddle mode, you need to install paddlepaddle-tiny, pip install paddlepaddle-tiny==1.6.1. Currently paddle mode supports jieba v0.40 and above. TensorFlow Machine Learning Cookbook

    TensorFlow Machine Learning Cookbook

Code for Tensorflow Machine Learning Cookbook

...The repository contains numerous Python scripts and Jupyter notebooks that demonstrate how to implement machine learning algorithms and neural networks using the TensorFlow framework. Each section focuses on a different aspect of machine learning development, including tensor manipulation, model training, optimization strategies, and data processing techniques. The examples illustrate how TensorFlow operations and tensors can be used to build machine learning pipelines and perform tasks such as regression, classification, and clustering. By combining theoretical explanations with executable code, the project helps developers understand how TensorFlow algorithms operate internally while also providing working examples that can be adapted for real projects.

    StarSpace

    StarSpace

Learning embeddings for classification, retrieval and ranking

...Instead of focusing on one task, StarSpace supports multi-task and multi-domain setups—for instance, you can train embeddings so that textual queries match item descriptions, sentences map to labels, or users align with liked items in the same embedding space. The training objective is contrastive: for a given query embedding, positive and negative examples are sampled and the model is optimized to score positive higher than negatives. The library supports a variety of tasks (text classification, nearest-neighbor search, recommendation, entity linking) with simple configuration. It includes efficient batching, negative sampling strategies, and on-the-fly embedding updates.

    PyTorch Natural Language Processing

    PyTorch Natural Language Processing

Basic Utilities for PyTorch Natural Language Processing (NLP)

...PyTorch-NLP comes with pre-trained embeddings, samplers, dataset loaders, metrics, neural network modules and text encoders. It’s open-source software, released under the BSD3 license. With your batch in hand, you can use PyTorch to develop and train your model using gradient descent. For example, check out this example code for training on the Stanford Natural Language Inference (SNLI) Corpus. Now you've setup your pipeline, you may want to ensure that some functions run deterministically. Wrap any code that's random, with fork_rng and you'll be good to go. Now that you've computed your vocabulary, you may want to make use of pre-trained word vectors to set your embeddings.

    DCVGAN

    DCVGAN

DCVGAN: Depth Conditional Video Generation, ICIP 2019.

This paper proposes a new GAN architecture for video generation with depth videos and color videos. The proposed model explicitly uses the information of depth in a video sequence as additional information for a GAN-based video generation scheme to make the model understands scene dynamics more accurately. The model uses pairs of color video and depth video for training and generates a video using the two steps. Generate the depth video to model the scene dynamics based on the geometrical information. ...
