We are a little group from norway who has a unix OS project called elran. And we need a package system like emerge and dpkg/apt-get and that is what we are planning to create now.

Created as a more sensible alternative to MacPorts, Fink, and Homebrew, Pacmac was inspired by Archlinux's pacman, but is not a port. All files except packages are plain text, and all executables are scripts.
