We started the project for school. Now the school project has finished and we plan to bring the project further. As said, it's based on gnome-shell. We took the source code of the gnome-shell and started to adapt it on touchscreen devices. Up to now we stayed fully compatible with the gnome-shell extension system. At the moment the software works just for the gnome-shell 3.2 shipped with Fedora 16 but we should adapt it for Ubuntu's gnome-shell version as well as for the newest releases of the gnome-shell. ... -

...I don't have an Android, and I used their evaluation version. It compiled without errors, but the emulator takes too long too long to load. I'm not sure if their testing tools even work properly, but the code is in a folder in the files section. I will be updating the project soon.

I made this android application for a "Gostai" training test admission. Recently, I used the same code with some modification to control a robot using my android mobile. This app communicate with a program ( written in C ) running on the " pandaboard" with socket. The communication is based on the TCP/IP protocol. For this release, I just use the basic control for the robot ( Forward, Backward, Turn Left, Turn Right and Stop ). The list ( yaw, pitch ) does nothing.
